This Privacy Policy describes how North Signal Studio handles information in its public website and applications, including MyRAM and Lifeline. If a future product provides a separate privacy notice, that product-specific notice will control for that product.
The North Signal Studio website is a static site hosted through GitHub Pages. North Signal Studio does not currently use advertising trackers or its own website analytics service. The hosting provider may process ordinary technical information, such as IP addresses and request metadata, as necessary to deliver the site under its own policies.
MyRAM does not require a North Signal Studio account or use a North Signal Studio cloud database for your notes. Notes, images, and other app content are stored locally on your devices. When you use supported device-to-device synchronization, content may be transmitted directly between authorized devices. North Signal Studio does not receive or store that synchronized note content.
Lifeline is designed so private health-management state remains on the user's authorized devices. North Signal Studio does not operate a cloud database, cloud synchronization service, or authentication proxy that receives or stores private Lifeline health records.
When a user chooses to connect Lifeline to a healthcare provider, Lifeline may communicate directly with that provider's authorized systems to retrieve information the user has permitted the app to access. Those provider systems remain separate third-party services and may process information under their own privacy practices.
Lifeline is currently under development. Development and verification use synthetic or approved non-production data unless and until production handling of private health information is explicitly enabled under Lifeline's privacy and security requirements.
North Signal Studio does not sell personal information from MyRAM or Lifeline and does not use private app content for targeted advertising.
North Signal Studio apps may request device permissions only when needed for an app feature, such as selecting media, opening an authentication session, or communicating with an authorized service. Permission choices are controlled through your device and operating system.
Local app content remains subject to the security controls of your device and the app. Because North Signal Studio does not maintain a cloud copy of private MyRAM or Lifeline state, North Signal Studio generally cannot retrieve or delete local app content on your behalf. Users control deletion through the app or their devices, subject to the features available in each product.
We may update this policy as our products change. The date above will be updated when the policy changes materially.
